Simplifa and Techem jointly digitalize elevators for more energy efficiency

Berlin/Eschborn, October 11, 2022 – Simplifa GmbH, an independent digital service provider that offers innovative solutions for managing elevator systems, and Techem, a leading service provider for smart and sustainable buildings, are entering into a sales partnership. Under this partnership, Simplifa’s digital solutions and products for elevator operations will complement Techem’s service portfolio. The goal of both partners is to reduce CO₂-emissions from existing buildings and to sustainably optimize energy consumption.

Valuable energy is extracted from the building through the elevator shaft, in particular, which acts like a large chimney. This is where Simplifa comes in with its Green Elevation solution: A ventilation system connected to the Simplifa monitoring system and automatically controlled by sensors in the shaft ensures ventilation as needed during elevator operation. This prevents heat loss and, in the event of a fire, immediately provides the necessary smoke extraction.
